I agree. I'm definitely one of the people it comes naturally to. Just yesterday I was told at a lrs that the 5-6 ft retic was a real biter, and there had not been a single person who had handled him without incident. I said I would take the risk, and I gently slid my hands under it in it's water bowl, supporting all of it's body, and picked it up, allowing it to uncoil and decide for itself where to put it's coils.
