It does sound mean but in the wild these fish would not eat every day and it is healthy to feed 3-4 times a week for adult large fish as it keeps the active because they start to look for extra food on days they don't get fed and get the excercise they need stay healthy . In tanks they start to get lazy cause they know u brig them food.

I don't see how you will be able to keep more than one of those snakeheads because of their agression which only gets worse the bigger and older they get. I had a giant s.h. I use to keep in a home made basement pond. This enclouser was about 750 gallons and I could keep no other fish with this 34 inch monster. I fed it purina trout chow and it was a lot of work to keep it's pond clean. I finally sold it to a friend who later kept it in his large basement tank. He still has it and it is by itself because that is the way the snakehead like it. LOL Good luck with whatever you do.
