What kind of trout are these? Sorry about the colors. Its a bit swayed. The bigger one has a lot of brown and red on it before it died. The smaller one was mostly silver with red spots.

i think the bottom one is a rainbow trout

the top is probably a kokanee or a young steelhead and the bottom one looks like a rainbow.

It looks like both of them are Brown Trout. They both have large spots on there head which is typicaly found on Browns. Neither of them have spots on the tail so I dont think they would be a Rainbow. And the top one does not have a very forked tail and has spots on the head so I bout it is a kokanee.

From my understanding, the area I caught these have only brown and rainbow.

All agreed Brown trout. Squared tail and the prominant dots esp the bottom one.
