That is awesome! Keep them cold and the lid on tight. They are aggressive jumpers and they love insects. But more then that they need cool water. 60 is best or below. I live near a trout farm. They are a beautiful fish. a member of the salmon family! In my opinion more fun to keep then to eat!

Having caught MANY rainbow trout, I can vouch they are jumpers! lol I have seen them launch way up out of the water going after bugs on the surface of lakes, cant imagine they wouldnt be any different in a tank.
I wish I could keep them here but from the way I understand the law here in Alaska we are not allowed to keep any form of Native species (that albino rainbow big no no here I guess) of fish or animal for that matter as a pet. If I could I would be working on a Northern Pike tank or a Trout tank eventually.

Those fish are really pretty. And i would bet there angry too. Every trout I've ever seen has been mean as hell

I use to have trouts in my koi pond, i would get them from a lake that we fish at and keep them alive. They lived and grew but everytime my grandma comes over they be all missing by the end of the week LOL. I just fed them koi food
