I'm getting rid of my common pleco TOMORROW!!! I'm having the same issue only I have what my LFS employee called "blackbeard algae." He said its the toughest to get rid of. My Marbled sailfin ate some of it but then just let it grow back. I'm tired of seeing it in my tank tho. My UV sterilizer wont even get rid of it... but my water is clear.
