I only keep RTG's and Xbacks, never having had any luck with reds.

Those belong to a good friend of mine.

My Pleuro is much bigger, but has lost some of its blue....
 
Mig - do you find that as plueros grow the blue goes away? If so at what size?

They look awesome!!! I'm sure whose ever they are, they are having a hard time leaving the tank. Very impressive!

I am not sure about that. It can be related to sex, I believe females grow greener, it can also do with the neighborhood they have to live in.

In my case, although never stressed due the company, the Pleuro is clearly the smallest gangsta, so, therefore, it just might be that it tends to shine less....

But it really is a thing based on observation, without any objective fundament.
