A lot of Festae don't have any barring at all at that size/age so it's not a reliable way to tell. And if that fish has a Y-bar, I suppose that means Mayans can get a Y-bar at a young age.

yeah I spoke to him and hes going to contact his distributor as well. as I said Ive known him for years and he will give me a refund. I may hold onto a couple though as mayan are nice fish too... just not the true festae that I wanted lol
