True Freshwater Moray?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Should be full FW. I've been looking into getting one but am holding off until I can make some better hiding spaces. From what I've read on them they are fairly reclusive in tanks and slow growing. Also fairly slow eaters that can easily be outcompeted.

That's surprising, they usually have g. tiles there that they sell as freshwater morays. They had it priced at $129 but I couldn't buy it because I just don't have the room. Otherwise, I would have snatched it!

What size tank do you need for one of these guys?

Wow, I have no idea that "freshwater" moray are so expensive outside of my country. Here in Indonesia they are price-ranged around 80.000 to 300.000 IDR (around 10 USD to 25 USD). My Echidna Rhodochilus ("freshwater" white-cheeked moray) is about 10 USD, it was cheap because I bought it direct from the guy who fished it out from a river around here. This is a pic of my eel.IMG_20171028_013348.jpg
