also, I cant edit the title, but technically these are not A. rivulatus. But they did carry that name previously, AND these are absolutely the terrors of the 70s and 80s. Just a taxonomic sidenote. :)

There's the original true green terrors (these fish, rare in the hobby, the ones that earned the name 'terror'), sometimes called silbersaum

the saums (gold usually, but there's a silver 'morph'/'variety'/species?)

and there's A. rivulatus, another fish similar to the TGT.
 
wow, this is the first time i've seen this thread. I've seen some GT in the LFS's around here, but nothing that handsome. Probably the other species you were talking about.

I think i might be interested, but i'm home on disability and not bringing in huge amounts of cash.. lol. i'm going to show the old man, and talk about setting up another tank. wish me luck..

thanks tom. they are starting to get more lively, and dont hide as much. their growth is also starting to pick up nicely.
