IMO Goldsaum still has him beat though.

Put them in the same tank and the Gold Saum is dead. hehehe, this real GT is supposed to be waaaay more aggressive, a true terror

Yeah probably. I just like the way the Goldsaum looks better. Besides I don't want anything that aggressive. That's why I got rid of my Flowerhorn.

Both fish are equally agressive as one another the only difference between the 2 speices is the colouration in the end of the caudal fin and the same with ends of the dorsal fin and in the true GT his face is lighter and dosen't have much pattern unlike the goldsaum which is way more colurful and easier on the eye.

But lets not drift off subject both fish are agressive and the only thing which i would say! which could seperate the 2 fish agression wise would be the individual personality of the fish !

Saums look better and are more docile and that's why they replaced the Green Terrors in the hobby for the last 15-20 or so years.(I guess for sales purposes since not everyone going to petshops for fish is a cichlid enthusiast and they'd rather have fish that get along) Plus I hear the area to collect True GT's is hostile or something...is it?

Jeff Rapps told me that real GT's are WAY more agile than saums. I was considering getting one from him, then tankspace problems came in. Oh well, I have a WILD gold saum :D

I would love to add a TRUE GT to a huge mean cichlid tank one day when I have one though! :grinyes:
