"true" Gren Tiger SD - anyone have them?

anyone have any of these, got 6 from rod and they are rowdy af...

i can't seem to find much info on this variety , i know they are from brasil...

The adipose fin is too short for Metynnis. Most likely they are some Tometes species.

Correct. Not Metynnis. And too young for me tell what they will be. Also too young to tell genders. Tometes, Mylesinus, Myleus are all good guesses. In species of several of these genera, the “tiger stripes” fade with development, and other colors (mainly reds) may kick in. They will grow larger than any Metynnis species. Beautiful fish! Please continue to post as they grow so we can all learn what they are.
