There is a place near where I live that is selling the true goliath..That is the one without the lines on the body and it is smooth..Once you look at it, you know it is not vittatus ..If you want to know where, let me know..This is the real deal as far as I can tell..

The owner of the store confirms it and it matches the pics of a true Goliath..That is all I can say..

The store is in the San Francisco Bay Area...The store has the vittatus and one goliath for sale....And the goliath looks different..If you are interested, leave reply..I am just doing you guys a favor for the dedicated fish guy out there in tracking down the true goliath..This is the first true goliath that I seen..I seen the vittatus many times before..
