Just Curious does anyone have pictures of a full grown Hystrix and what the biggest size they have ever had? Disc width and length?

average disc size is roughly 14 inches, off the top of my head. you'll of course see variation in it, but i wouldn't think to a massive extent. i don't think they would get anywhere near hitting 20 inches, especially in an aquarium environment

In with him are about same size and about 4 years old
I think most will stay under 14" or

I have a Trio. Male 3 years old. 9-9.5 inches. Females 2-3 years old.9.5-10 disc.

Wow they do stay pretty small then. What size tank do you guys have yours in? What would be the Min. tank size would be for them.
After I get my ray keeping chops built up with some motoro experience this is where I'm going hysterix FTW!
ive got my trio in a 210 long. its an 8x2 footprint. its only them in there they are doing great. gonna do some hydro cycles soon and get some pups going!
