I got them late 09. She makes the other female look small too. I'm just waiting on these pups now. The gestation period of these rays can be frustrating at times.

Male 11", darker female 12" and blonde female is 13".

I'm not their first keeper, not sure about the age. I believe they're at least 6-7 years possibly older

A 12inch disk ray is not small trust me

Get a compass and draw a 12inch disk it's not small
Then add another 6-8inch tail and you will have a large animal

Wow they really are beautiful Animals! I cant wait to get my own. Im sure the Hystrix will be the best choice for me since they are a smaller speices and they have beautiful patterns.
