Growth happens not just mouth to tail but also from belly to spine. A 3 or 4 year Dovii is still only a quarter of its life. So if you don't like adult Dovii then that's fine just say that lol

That female in that video is well over a couples years old... so is that male what are you saying? Compare it to rapps dovii there is quite a difference in shape

You can't even disagree, it's pretty f***ing obvious that some are more elongated than others.

It is more so a eating good and healthy thing than it is a dominance thing although they have to be dominant to maintain the space and territory to eat good enough.

Wow!! Old memories,old pictures,howdy guys, I am the lucky guy that caught these brutes,on 2 separate outings,the older gentleme,you see on one of the pics,is Mr. Antonio Altamirano,the current world record holder and a childhood friend of mine,unfortunately for him,he's record will go down,as it it,it should had gone down with the brutes you see on the pics,2 in particular,the one I am holding on my left and,and the beast that is laying on the table,with them Jags,that could have easily beaten the 4 lbs world record.
Good to be a member of a forum,with guys that are Dovii lovers. :)

Good to see you here, nothing like a person with knowledge of true wild speciems. I do have a young male I'm starting to grow out he's about 8-9 inches long. Good pics and video in this thread I had forgotten about. This thread also reminds me why a backed away from this board over the years LMAO.
