False. Most catfish will outgrew their tank very easily.
 
false. i think the fishes growth will be stunted usually do to the fact that your water quality wont be very good if u have a huge fish in a small tank. but if your water quality is good and your fish is fed a good diet i think it will still grow to almost max size. maybe i touch short of max size but close enough

i had an aunt who raised comets in a 2g then i a 20l. they got to about 7" long but like 3" in hight which is way wrong...they jump out and put themselves our of there own misery
