True Polypterus ansorgii or just some polypterus hybrid juvenile?

seems like i really need to keep it till its bigger to confirm.

Let it grow to 6-8 inches but I'm for sure it's a 100% CB p.ansorgii.

Some endli or ansorgii will have marking like that and some not. Even laps will have markings like that as well. Most lower jaw juvie bichirs have darker tail markings.

No not yet. I'm moving to an apartment and they will only allow me to put a max of 210g tank which sucks. I might have to get rid some of my fish but will still keep all my bichirs.

They are currently in a 275g which will become even more smaller once I move to the apartment. Instead of upgrading... I'm actually down grading. Don't have a choice.
