my get the red hump probly a day or two after a big water change i thnk it might be due to a degree or 2 in dropping of water temp?

so what does it go away arfter a week or stays and gets bigger

the nautical hump comes along for sexual maturity usually when you introduce a female or change the water temp higher

Nautical hump  Sorry bud, just made me laugh. It's actually called a nuchal hump.

My males have all grown nuchal humps in a bid to out do each other and become top dog.

Here in Australia I can only find monos, as far as I can tell they look pure, iv seen a 70cm temensis once and my mate has a possible ocell or some sort of hybrid which he got as a mono, but other than that it's mono, mono , mono here, and they look awesome. I have 7 rite now- hooked!

P.s. Very hard to find in aus, which sux, but not impossible, fir a decent size bass at least 30cm u will be lookin upwards of $250 AUD! I should try breed em hey i might get rich of it- I wish

The word PURE can be tricky when it comes to Peacock Bass, unless you caught it yourself, in Central American Waters.
