I have an 8 inch mayan that I keep in his own tank. I got him from an LFS in downtown Chicago for $10, a steal. They sold it for so low because when they tried to put it with any other fish, it killed them. He is a killing machine, but he is my killing machine

i agree with them mayan because no y bar and spot on tail is too big. I use to have a breeding pair of mayan and festae and from the start the fry are different in many ways. mayan have less bars then festae and festae reddest at fry when the mayan fry is red-brown.
