What makes a RT a True Red Texas over another a regular red texas? There are no natural red texas to my knowledge they are all hybrids. I saw this label for the first time in my LFS just last week.

Just a name for the hybrid TRT consists of either a red devil or midas cichlid xTexas cichlid.

Yea my lfs has them too and the breeder he got them from told us what makes them he charged $130 without tax at 3" all were selected quality.

You talking about Eddies in Latham? The have one for the same price about 5-6" not very nice looking IMO. (referring to the one at Eddies not the OP's)
