I'm in Little Falls, NJ 07424. This is the one female I ended up with from my Rapps order and I have no intention of breeding Trimacs. She's about 2 1/2" and has great potential. I've been feeding NLS Thera+A, Hikari Gold, Omega One Cichlid Pellets as a staple and Bloodworms, Brine w/Spirulina as treats. I'd like to get $15 for her, pick up only.

Here is a pic of her when I got them. She hasn't changed much, just grew a little and put on some weight. I've been trying to take some pics and all I get is a blur since they're so active.

Shes a damn cute one!

Thanks, she's a tough one too. Holds her own very well with the guys. I prefer not to ship but if there is no interest locally for a week, I'll consider it.

I bought 5 from Jeff Rapps and she's a true Trimac, not a flowerhorn.

not a trimac. too much pearling. + they are called three spot cichlids for a reason.

^ Agree, I have never seen a true trimac with that much pearling or a full flowerline to boot.

They were purchased from a very reputable source which is known for supplying TRUE trimacs, NOT flowerhorns.

If anyone is concerned I was sold flowerhorns please advise Jeff Rapps, he might appreciate your input :D

Thank you.

i stand by my opinion. if they are from mr. rapps, then you have probably seen his photo gallery. funny how his trimacs dont look like those. as i said. trimacs do not have that much pearling. looks more like a trimac x texas.

Im a member of a few flowerhorn society's and can without a doubt mark these fish as ZZ strain flowerhorn.

He must have gottem a shipment mixed up. Trimacs should have no pearl whatsoever. This is not crossed with texas as texas pearls are more dominant trait and would have thicker pearls.

all in all its a beautiful fish and im loving it.

Thing is, he doesn't sell flowerhorns at all so there is no Trimac/Flowerhorn shipment to get mixed up. Anyhow, I'm not here to debate and everyone is entitled to thier opinions. Just trying to find this gal a good home :) I'll keep you posted if I decide to ship since you're first in line.

Yeah; I'm gonna agree witht the other guys and grillahorn hit it right on the head when he said it was a ZZ strain; I've been breeding flowerhorns for almsot seven years and there is not much pearl on a three spot, and the flower is way too developed too be a three spot, but it is a beautiful fish none the less!
