im looking for the smallest species of fresh water rays i plan to breed them but only have room for a small tank in my appartment. i have a 90g, 46g(bowfront), and several 10 and 20gallons. i was looking at the teacup rays but was not shure on genus and species name so i could do more research. i used to have a large mattoro that me and my brother had maintained for years. now ive been reading that freshwater rays are easy to breed in captivity and would like to try. ive breed and sold damb near everything from cichlids to corals. could someone give me some info and posibly a retailer because rays are being harder and harder to find in my area and more and more expensive.

Welcome to mfk, you will get more info by starting your own thread rather then hijacking someone elses, look at the stickies on the top, also a 90 gallon is way to small for any ray, reticulated are small but have huge tails (Tea cups) are just a wholesaler name for cheap small rays.
