Trump Supporter Tortured On Facebook Live

I don't know about violence committed by trump supporters around here but I do know of libtards causing trouble. At school there was a "not my president" walkout and there's a group of like minded people that I hang out with, we all park together and hang out around our trucks and talk about fishing, hunting and whatnot during lunch and release periods. We were out there over lunch eating cheap pizza and drinking mtn. Dew like only teenagers can when this protest was going down and someone stole three of the flags we had on our trucks and distributed them to the leaders, and then they were thrown on the ground, trampled, and someone tried to light one of them on fire. The principal called the cops on us for "disrupting the peace" or some bs and the cops came, we explained what happened and offered them pizza and they hung out and said that if we had an issue again they'd see to it that the kids responsible would be punished appropriately but because all they had was word of mouth and a maimed flag they couldn't file charges against the mass.

Well that certainly was wrong of them. I have no issues with a walkout, as it's a form of peaceful protest protected by the constitution. I have issues with violence, particularly hate crimes. Property destruction is bad as well, but I consider violence against people to be the worst form of protest.

Hello; Are you sure about this? While I have not tried to keep track real close, my impression is that since the election the anti-Trumpers have been very busy indeed.

Just to be clear, I have no issues with peaceful protests. If they turn violent, that's a problem. While there are an incredible amount of claims online, I will only post a couple from credible news sources, as many claims were fabricated and have been debunked. One of these is from before the election. The one on CNN cites a statistic from the Southern Poverty Law Center that there were 867 cases of hateful harassment (not necessarily violent but not okay) in the 10 days after the election. The trump supporters were clearly very busy after the election as well, which is kind of like being a sore winner. Just my 2 cents. Like I said before, all of it is wrong.

That's the media lying to you, well over 80% of the violence are caused by anti-Trump supporters. When a Trump supporter(s) acts up the media keeps it in the news for days to make a big deal of it but when an anti-Trump supporter acts up, it only gets mentioned once for about 10 seconds and that's it.

My personal experience has been the opposite. The media reports large numbers of these cases, and rarely does one incident get reported on. Just large collections of incidents. I'm curious where you obtained your statistic though if you don't trust media. I read both CNN and Fox personally, and I listen to nonpartisan radio. They all reported on the incident in the OP.

I usually go to CNN's website. I was there just now and there are 19 articles/topics on Trump. I can tell you not a single one is friendly to him. There are zero articles on Clinton and her crimes against this country. There are 4 about Obama(none are negative)

Just another day in Chicago it seems though.

I'm from Chicago too. And this really pissed me off. The only good from this is people made a go fund me for him and raised over 100K. They also filmed themselves doing something that will get you 15 years. This is just not our City's year. We had 700 murders

Yeah but look at Fox. It's pretty much the same thing. Clinton is out of the news in general these days because she isn't doing much. Obama isn't doing much either since he only has a few days left. Trump is the future and he is making headlines because he's doing things. I believe that's why the news is skewed towards him. There were plenty of posts on Clinton and Obama a couple of months ago.

Basically my point is that what's in the news today is not reflective of a typical day of news. This is a transition period where trump has the stage. It's times like this where right-wing and left-wing media report on similar issues. They may have different biases in the text, but the headlines are nearly the same.

Half of my friends are already enlisted and the consequences they'd receive for their actions were the main deterrent for not offing them right there. They'll get what's coming for them, that and the principal is a bleeding heart liberal who made no attempt at hiding his views as well as forcing his opinion on students. We don't need to give him a reason to disband the trap shooting club as a result of his minions.

Couldn't agree more. The crime against the trump supporter was terrible and I have no doubt that the perpetrators will be behind bars.

The Southern Poverty Law Center tracks hate crimes (including those committed against white people). The most recent (I believe) update tracks 1,094 bias crimes committed since the election:

Overall, anti-immigrant incidents (315) remain the most reported, followed by anti-black (221), anti-Muslim (112), and anti-LGBT (109). Anti-Trump incidents numbered 26 (6 of which were also anti-white in nature, with 2 non-Trump related anti-white incidents reported).

They have also removed 13 incidents that were found to be hoaxes or false reports (and removed)

I recommend reading the report at the link. It provides a nice graphic of the categories of crimes and details: https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch...as-related-incidents-month-following-election

If anyone needs a reminder of the kind of rhetoric that - some would argue - could lead to the kinds of crimes being committed dis-proportionally against immigrants, blacks and Latinos, here's a jog down memory lane:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't this receive more attention because there are few of these incidents compared to violence committed by trump supporters? The headlines about those incidents are so numerous (mostly hate crimes) that I don't even click on them anymore.

It's not okay coming from any side.
