your probably right... Different spots but same squiggly lines.. your mantilla was huge, hope she does not get that big....

Was the dad of the litter Marble?

She will get big. But then you can ship her to me :headbang2

The father was an ok looking marble male.

I wouldn't call it a Marble. :grinno:

Maybe the pups would look different with a true Marble, maybe they wouldn't..... Time will tell.

"Mantillas" are just naturally occuring hybrids if you ask me.... Mine was traced back to be a Henlei/Motoro.

They get BIG. And they do NOT play nice.....LOL At least mine doesn't. Much thicker, stronger rays than most Motoro/Marbles.
 
No man. My long wait was the one in my avatar..... No question as to weather or not it's a marble......LOL
 
you guys are talking like its CB ray.... is this not from a LFS? most LFS would not have captive rays... mantilla is a possibility.... maybe we really need to try this out again in a few months after it puts some size on ;)
 
your right it is from a local fish store, they would only tell me it is from south america :)

So it is wild caught just not sure from where.
