Try to Id this guy

IMO it is so subtle that it may or may not be. Does the breeder state that this is precisely using those three fish that THAT BREEDER HIM/HERSELF bred and produced this hybrid?

i dont know but I would say the 2 cichlids will not be able to outrun him for long ;p

If so, this is a first for me. Please, if you will, keep posting the pics as it grows - I, for one, am very highly curious what it will grow into. Thanks!

I've long heard rumors that almost all RTC tsn hybrids have some planiceps in them. It has been around for a while. The dots on the side are the largest indicator in most cases.

looks liek a standard rtc x tsn hybrid to me. The secodn rwo of dots behind the pecs are the gros cycle dots. as the fill to the tail his growth spurts occur. both of my hybrids put on a row of spots, then the white becomes ashey and dark and then a new layer fills below as thier bodies grow. you can coun the growth cycle by watchign the spots/skin, coloration

sorry for the horrible grammar int eh previous post. The secodn rwo of "dots" are his next growth spurt patterns. Hybrids are really easy to follow thier "cycle". as the dots progress to the tail and increase in size his body shoudl be also increasing in size, beginnning with the tail fin increasing to a dis-proportionate size, then his mouth and head should grow. Once the "dots" reach a uniform size, the white skin below them should start to turn an ashen grey color, which is the second phase of his growth. His body should now become larger/stockier until the dark background fills to the tail. Once the white turns dark, and the dots become uniform, his growth spurt is over. you should also notice a 1/2"-1" growth in overall body length at this point if he is healthy and fed nutriously. He will then take a few weeks to recover adn collect energy (food) to prepare for the next cycle. This continues through thier adult life. This is my own opinion on the subject but if you watch you can tell when thier growth starts and stops. its pretty cool, imoo.
