motoro mate

good luck, hope you can find an unrelated pair and have a tank big enough for them to breed AND a big enough tank to grow the young on to sellable size.

sounds good josh but these people on here seam to dislike you alot but there is no need to tell him or harass him im shocked this kid is still on here.

If you would just grow up a bit and stop buying and selling fish every other day you would catch a lot less slack. These aren't baseball cards, they are living things. Look at them like Dogs and Cats, you don't trade those weekly, I hope. So don't do the same with fish. Also, you have that one tank it's always got some huge catfish or like at the moment it's got like 5 giant Plecos in it. Your tank(s) are overstocked and dirty in pretty much every photo you post, this gives people the perception you have no clue what you are doing so when you are "planning" on breeding high dollar fish they are going to point out that it's not for you. You'll understand later in life hopefully.

my water is fine actuley as you can see from the fillter i have on my 32" tank (yes ino its over stocked but it wont before long, is a fulva 205 exturnal and inturnal fuval 3 and a power head and bubble pump .

powerheads and air pumps don't constitute filtration...

Wait till you have a job and an income, this is a hobby your talking about not a business, you're looking at breeding for all the wrong reasons atm.

i don't think water quality is judged by what filter is on the tank, but more in combination with the amount of water changes done.

i don't think anyone is saying anything all that extreme to him, rather trying to inform him of the many problems he's going to face. yea some could be nicer but people don't always listen to nice.

once again i really think you are going into this whole thing thinking just having a male and a female of a species will automatically make them breed, and that raising a high percentage of fry is going to be simple. these are just not true of most species and if you want it this easy buy a pair of convicts.

if you really have your heart set on breeding fish start with one species, get a tank that can house them for life, and also a large tank to raise the young. focus on that species first then branch out from there once you've been succesful with that. but still don't expect to make much money off of this unless it is done on massive scale (which doesn't seem possible for you at the moment), because of electricity costs, and maybe even more important with fish such as stingrays is food costs, maintenance costs, etc.
good luck with what you decide i hope i'v helped open your eyes/mind a bit
