Trevor,if you remember what the gravel looked like in my 240,very similar looking. I do have Peace River in one of my tanks containing Geo's,as far as with rays...it is multi colored,so to me it kind of act's like "camo" have always thought that solid colored substrate made all stingrays stand out more (contrast). I am surprised to hear that you did'nt like torpedo beach all that much,especially with a black ray?

Thanks for the links. The hystrix look good on it. I've got mine on river sand right now, but it's rather light colored.
Bet black rays will look good as well. I think they look better (contrast) on a lighter background.
