wow was i surprised , they are beautiful snooks and wow they did start breeding .. let me know if you have a successful spawn.. just beautiful!!! And congradulations....

Not sure exactly, we bought them back when they were about 3" that was back in Late Sept. or early Oct. 0f 2007

No not at all, I really just have been keeping an eye on the one who did all the laying last time :) I'm thinking the other snook wasn't mature last time. But it did go behind the female and shimmied and shook its body...just nothing came out :( But I will know for sure this go around!
 
Liz--they both are around 8 1/2-9 inches and about 1/2 -3/4" thick....From what i have read about them thats as big as the female will get, and if the other really is a male then he should reach around 18-20" hopefully!!

wow they got some nice growth on them in that span of time, i definitly need to get a couple snooks.. do you know the species name to this type you have? Do you know if they do okay single too..or do they do best in groups?
