You can go ahead and make a post or ask what you were wondering. alot of people here didnt just start with five peacock bass and a ray. some here started with community fish and even still keep side tanks now with small fish. So go nuts.

I recommended Aquariacentral because it's still part of the Monster Aquaria network. The members there are more attuned towards guppies and bettas and could most likely provide the most up-to-date info. I've been out of small species for a couple of decades (with the exception of pea puffers) and can no longer offer pertinent info on guppies and bettas since I haven't kept them in so long.
