trying to get jar to eat sticks

Thanks, it's been day 2 and looks like it's super hungry because I use to feed him 3 times a day with (crickets, bloodworms, krill, goldfish). Just a few more days to go!

Sucks huh??? I'm feeding him the Cichlid Staple right now, hopefully will eat it soon... It finally got REALLY hungry and put one in his mouth, then spit it out too. So do you remove the uneaten after like 10 minutes?? That's what I do, just to keep it clean :) Good luck!
 
It takes awhile, My jar is on day 6 and finally ate 1 stick, I threw in some blood worm after that and he seems to eat those alot more. I just leave the sticks in the tank for the blood parrots and my senegalus to eat.
 
YAY!!! Finally got him to eat Cichlid Gold - took approximately 4 days and finally got him on just these pellets. He eats approximately 10 small pieces each time (he's only 8 inches or so ) 2-3 times a day. :) Can't wait till it's much larger on this healthier diet than just crickets, krill, and shrimp...
