TSN - A good predator?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah tsn definitely have a game plan when hunting, rtc just barrage their prey relentlessly. Jau are insane hunters. THey are like a swimming torrent of death when it comes to prey. My old one and new one would flip end over end through the whole tank tearing through feeders. I'd have to get out little chunks that were leftover. I'd have to say that my filamentosum has a great ability as a hunter. He will swim to the top of the tank and drift down through the feeders and if one is right in front of him it will magically dissapear. Way faster than a tsn strikes, but takes longer to swallow it. Jurense sit and wait, and as soon as one is in perfect position under their mouth, wham it's gone. I must add that if you are going to feed feeders do so on ocassion, and set up a qtank for them. I try to keep them for at least a few days in q for treatment and fattening before putting them in with my fish.
