Whooah
we placed our specially grown out Oscar (6/7") in with our TSN (18/19') a couple of months ago and made sure we put in a large size goldfish (5") as a buffer. The food plan was large pellets, frozen bloodworms and zero feeders. This appeared to be going well...until today when...
...the buffer got eaten. It looked like they were all three co-existing and then...boom...our TSN had this huge belly and upon investigation...
...the goldfish was soooo gone and the TSN's belly was huge and I missed it by about five minutes.
I have no regrets about putting our Oscar in with our TSN...but...sure glad we also put in the buffer gold fish. Good thing we have a couple more on stand by...we call it the colliseum tank. I was actually really sad to loose this gold fish...
...didn't mean to get (sort of) attached to what was originally a feeder gold fish.
