Thanks again everyone! I think we're just going to leave it be so we don't risk him hurting himself further. Adding a dose of API Melafix now...man this stuff is yucky lol smells and makes the water cloudy/greasy looking. I'm sure that'll go away soon. Will see how big boy does!

It didn't snap back on it's own so still upturned but seems to be healing fine...no signs of irritation or infection. We've given him a few days to heal before feeding again so should know by tomorrow if he'll eat but I feel confident that he will He seems perfectly normal other than looking a little snobby lol
