What's wrong with you? Let's try to help this guy out not make fun that he won't get a big enough tank. We don't know him, we don't know that he will not get a big enough tank. Help him out, suggest a size of tank, anything but don't make fun of him. This is MFK, we were all noobies at one time even you. Why does MFK have to always shun noobies, we were there too.:irked:

Okay done ranting.

What do you mean what's wrong with me? There's MAYBE 100 people on MFK that have the MINIMUM adult size tank requirements for TSN...

I won't beat a dead horse and tell you that a massive tank will eventually be necassary, so back to feeding.

If you want to feed feeders be forewarned, you will introduce a parasite eventually but here goes. My TSN always laid on the bottom under a huge peice of drift wood during the day. He was always alert and ate any feeder that he felt in front of his face but he rarely left his daytime slumber spot. When the lights went off however, he never stopped swimming and any feeders were gone by morning. The TSN would have a huge bulging belly.

Bottom line, if you want to watch him eat you will probably have to fill all faster fish to allow a feeder to wander in front of the catfish. If not, try turning off the lights and dump a few feeders into tank...Once the TSN is used to his sourroundings, this should be a fool proof way to feed him.
Good Luck.

Or get moon lights and put feeders in at night time.

when i first go my TSN that i have given away, he didnt eat the first week, but he still managed to have a fat tummy. i never saw him eat which was the problem. but after a while, i noticed when i dropped 1 by 1 a catfish wafer in, (when it was dark) he would eat like 20 of them :D

he was super cute and after a while he had a feeding routine
it takes soem time, but they eat feeders when the lights are on when they get used to the tank :)

good luck! :D
