Sorry for the title. Anyway, every now and then my plec starts sucking my tsn and he doesn't really bother swimming away. Will this harm him or cause any problems? Also I think the tsn must have banged into the glass or lid because he had a big cut there which has healed bur also his nose looks blunt instead of pointed. Has he broken his nose. Please hepl

Sounds like the plec is feeding off the slime layer. Move the plec.

lol i have like the same pic, like dead on same 2. ya mine did same thing, i just moved them apart.

ummmm interesting title... The plec is stressing the hell out of your TSN and causing it to have to grow it's slim coat back .... The slim coat helps to prevent illness and everytime the pleco has a taste he is opening up the protective layer of slim and your TSN is vulnerable to getting sick quick... not to mention at some point that Pleco isn't going to stop and will actually start tearing off the skin of your TSN. Find a new tank or home for one of them IMO

one more thing to add
once a pleco starts to feed on slime coat, it doesn't move on to other foods and prefers more slime coat
so its time to separate the two cats

How about his nose. Is it likely he has broken it. He had a nasty cut and it looks a bit blunt. He's feeding fine and is only 12" so will it just grow back to normal?
