If the tsn does'nt have enough room to play, it could get worse. His nose that is.

He has plenty of space I think hurting his nose was a one off. I'm just hoping it will heal back to normal.

Hi, TimtheBadAss...your TSN's nose if it was broken is not likely to heal back to what it was. Kinda' like a fighter...once the nose is broken unless you have surgery (which doesn't usually completely fix the look) you can always tell the nose has been broken. Also as a result, he likely has a bit of an underbite...that is not likely to change either, but it will not stop him from being himself. The nose will be tender for a bit, but eventually only you will remember that he broke it because you are looking at it all the time wishing your fish hadn't been hurt.

Mine spooked when an air tube came off and we woke up to a very badly cut bent nose. The cut healed very quickly because he is really healthy, but the nose (three months later or so) is still bent.

My pleco instead of feeding off my tropical fish would suck on my native fish! thats when i learned native+tropical=EPICfail
also my pleco sometimes chases my oscar into the side of the tank and now he has a hole in his head (not the disease lol, just an injury). Move the pleco for sure, i'd love to take it off your hands for you but i got no room!

Thanks for posting and thanks for the replies. Never realized this behavior was so harmful so I ditched my common pleco because he was sucking on my TSN.

Apparently TSNs are a favorite snack of the Loricariidae family...:D

they must taste like garlic or something:screwy:
