TSN in 250 gallon concrete pond?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That won't hold a tsn for life. Concrete is not water proof. Someone built one for an etc before. And others for aros. You need to have a sealer for the pond. That size you listed is to small.

It has been waterproofed and sealed. It has been done professionally. Anyway so the TSN is a no go?

Tsn is no go in that pond. The max size of a tsn is to large for the pond. It will out grow that pond in Two years. I have had tsn grow fast enough to out grow that pond in 6-8 months.

Okay thanks. What about Arowanas. Been thinking of a silver but I'm scared they might jump. Heres the pond. Any species you think might suit?

Width - 34"

Height - 22"

I wouldn't choose monster cats for the pond as they will be the only fish to outlive their counterparts. Look for mid sized ones but first and foremost, settle your cover for that pond if possible

I agree you flipped the width with height. The length of your pond is the limiting factor now. If you cover it you could do a jar, lei or Asian (if they are legal were your from can't see it from the app.) You could do some hystrix rays. Otherwise look for jurunise, Tigs or some other cat in that size class.
