anyone with success with severums????????????? or red devils, red snooks, and anything else the more input the better

Had mine with Dovii and had to seperate them cause the Dovii roughed him up good, Dovii was 6" and the TSN was 11". So i would not recommend that ;)

how have people done with the TSN and clown knifes together? and wat would be the best size to put them 2gether, my tsn is bout 7-8in at the moment?

Our 18" is in a 120 with only one Oscar (about 7") and one large gold fish...the gold fish is a buffer just in case he decides that maybe the Oscar is looking like food. I socialized the TSN (while we grew out the Oscar)...ie gently rubbed his belly and chin, hand fed him etc. until he preferred to be hand fed as opposed to hunt for his food. His picture is in my gallery. He's about 30 months old and doing great.

This is a TSN that my spouse accepted from someone else when he wasn't compatible with the fish in their tank. . It looks like we will build an addition on our house this year and then buy or build him a larger tank before he gets too much bigger. For now he is in our living room and interacts with us on a regular basis. Please note though...that while we are okay having him in the 120 for now...we are not supportive of the "Keep them in a smaller tank and they won't grow" theory. They grow :WHOA:.

just remember that growing out fish to adulthood as some of on here try to do takes dedication and tons of patience and money. I have 2 350 gal cattle troughs right now, a 90 gal, 75 gal, 45 gal, 30 gal, and 2 ten gals, and a 30 gal hospital pond/ turtle tank. My tsn are 21", 20", and 13". I have a 37" tsn x rtc hybrid also. I've raised all my tsn from 2" to their current sizes. The biggest is about 14 months old. I've kept them with oscars, D. sexafasciatus, plecos, channel catfish, rtc, and jag cichlids currently. My smallest is with 2 limas, a bullhead, pleco, and a marble x rtc hybrid. They are all roughly the same size. Just make sure all fish are similar in size and thickness and you'll be fine for the most part.
