Its a catfish. And over all that, its a fish. If he is stress free, which sounds like he is. Not getting picked on and stuff. Then i wouldnt worry about it. No fish is gonna kill itself from starvation unless something is wrong like stress. He will eat eventually. Ive heard that sometimes they just have to warm up to you. Not comfortable enough yet. Not sure if its 100% true, just something i heard. But once he does start to eat like how he is suppose to, man, you have another coming. He will double his size in no time. My rtc is like 6 months old and 18" now. Goodluck! hope he eats.

Yea I hope he does to. I can't wait for my tsn and rtc to out grow my 300. It will give me more reason to build the 2000 gallon pond in my garage lol
IDK....maybe try a whole earth worm. I had a similar situation with the Mad Tom that I keep. That was all it took to get him to start feeding. If you've tried everything you're just going to have to wait. He should eventually come around.
Ok update on my tsn not eating. I went to the local bait store and picked up some nigh crawlers and frozen shrimp. I turned the lights out for about an hour untill he came off the bottom I dropped a worm in front of him and he swam away but when I dropped the peeled shrimp in he went crazy and gobbled it up yaaaaaaayyyy lmao. Thanks bulldovii I took ur idea of it being a cat fish and though about what I catch them with at the lake. Shrimp and worms. And the shrimp worked
