TSN off feeders??

has anyone tried weaning the TSNs off feeders
as right now all my fishes in the 180g accept dried shrimps except the TSNs eat dried shrimp as well as pellets

the problem is the dried shrimp
(couldn't find sinking pellets in the lfs here) floats and the TSNs wouldn't come up for the shrimp or pellets and the RTCs and the aro just polish of the shrimp or pellets even before the TSNs even try to come up

any ideas how i can make the TSNs accept shrimp or pellets

what worked with mine was not feeding for a week on live and through in shrimp sinking pellets it took a few tries but they eventually to to the pellets!!

my TSN eats pre cooked shrimp and prawns I have to cut to his size so he can eat them.

Yeah, just don't feed him what he wants and keep offering what you want him to eat. He'll eventually cave. It's harder to ween them when they are large so start now before he gets too big. All 3 of my tsn eat shrimp, and worms exclusively. I might even give them some fish fillet sometimes. The ones in my pond let me handfeed them now.

the actual problem is i have two hogs(6" RTCs) in my tank along with the TSNs, and they kind of polish off the food, and it is highly unlikely that the TSNs will get food unless they come up, will they come up is the most worrying part for me, if they don't they might go hungry for a long time

i starved my TSNs for 3 months! i finally gave up. they still eat live feeders even to the present day my TSNs are also really unfriendly and never come to the sirface unless it is hunting time at night. there is virtually no chance of touching them cause they run away wen i stand on top of the pond. i wish i cud swap wif necro

Wait until Necro's get that big, they wont be nearly as friendly. Its just the nature of the fish. I'm sad mine died, but I sure dont miss him.
