TSN & PBASS??

Gday all, iv got a 19'' TSN and was thinking bout getting a pbass soon.the one i was looking at was only 10''.Do u think it will become dinner for the TSN? If so,what would be the minimum size for one? Cheers

i dought it p-bass are too fast...but i have never kept one myself...and have no clue what ur TSN's temperment is.

a 10 inch pbass i believe should be too big for him to swallow so you should be ok...

well now that you say its 8" it may or may not be eaten by your TSN....just depends.....but a TSN's mouth isnt as wide as a RTC so you should be alright! =) Goodluck with it

well now that you say its 8" it may or may not be eaten by your TSN....just depends.....but a TSN's mouth isnt as wide as a RTC so you should be alright! =) Goodluck with it

I must step in and say without a doubt a 19" TSN will try to eat a 8, 10, or even 12" Pbass A TSN of that size is a eating machine and a 10" Pbass will not last very long.

I have a 19" tsn and it's head is 3" wide. How tall is the pbass? That's the key if it can fit in it's mouth it will. Also remember that a tsn can open it's mouth to an almost complete circle allowing it to swallow prey wider than it's head. So a 3" wide tsn can probably eat a fish that is 3-4" in dia.

i have'nt actually seen the pbass,but i saw a 8'' or so one the other day and it wasnt overly that tall.iv got a 6'' syndontis and a 12'' murray cod with the TSN and he hasnt tried to munch em down yet.i might try to get a pbass around the 12'' mark.i was seeing if i could get away with the smaller one as it was alot cheaper.in aus a 8'' Pbass $200 & 12'' bout $350.il keep u's posted.
