There you go Shane some info off the guys on tsn (I've never kept a big one 2'+ ) so I've never had one swallow a big aro , perhaps you should go for a more gentle giant of a cat that can't swallow whole jardini lol
Don't get me wrong I've got cats with big enough mouths to swallow my jardini (black driftwood cat ) but there lazy and don't go hunting with aggression I'm sure if my jar was hovering around in front of its mouth it would get inhaled though lol :D

yea i think i will probably leave it, i'm to scared of the jar getting eaten and also territory wars with my leiarius, there is to many potential problems. i think i am going to try some cichla though and i am tempted to try a vittatus atf but again its a lot of risk lol i will make a thread on whatever i try :)

Don't try atf it'll end in tears and scales everywhere , jardini ain't good with silver fish so the last thing you need is one that fights back with a ridiculous set of nashers lol , a group of bass could be worth a go but keep your eye on them , perhaps some barbs or sd's to attract attention ? You could try a few of the cats I've got/had that work with jars if you wanted more cats that is ;):D

yea i thought that might happen but i have a spare tank big enough for a vittatus, might just get 1 to put in there fron the start rather than risk it tho lol always room in my tank for some cats but all my favorites get big enough to take out the jar :( why to all the best fish have to be a'holes lol i'm tempted to try a giraffe again but the last 2 i had got territorial at around the 1' mark, def gonna give the cichla a go and keep them in the spare tank or sell them on if they don't wrk out

My giraffe cat was a nightmare with my other cats and birchir but fine with my jar lol , yeah all fish we like are a nightmare and don't even get me started on cichlid battles lol :D:D
