TSNxRTC will not eat

My 8 inch hybrid has just stopped eating for about a week and a half. He used to be a healthy eater, and ate everything i would feed him (worms, shrimp, pellets, and silversides) but now nothing. the tank params are ammonia 0 nitrite 0 and nitrate 40 ish. temp is 80. he is starting to get skinny and i am getting worried.:(
What should i do??

yeah i got the same problem too. hope they have a solution for us.
 
is he shedding the mucus of his skin, they tend to stop eating while they do this.
 
no he doesn't seem to be shedding. He also seems to be very lethargic. I hope he doesn't die!!
 
i hope so too, the silversides you fed him, were they fresh? did they smell off? have you bumped the temp and done a water change nitrate of 40 is kinda high..
it just dosent seem right for a fish to be eating soo regularly to just suddenly be turned off food.
