Go back to the store with a print-out of both species and tape it to the tank that zig-zag came out of. Then tell them you're getting your money back AND keeping the fish, and your uncle at the better business bureau might be interested in the situation. This crap has to stop.

That's a little extreme. When using a common name there is a lot of room for error.

I have been going to this fish store for several years. I know most of the employees a bit and they know me. Im fairly confident they will make it right and correct their labeling when I present them with the info. Thanks for all the help guys.

Even though he's not a TT, I'd still feed him cut up defrosted krill or shrimp as well as some live red wrigglers. The red wrigglers are small earthworms that he should get down just fine. You can pick them up at fishing stores that carry live bait. They just don't survive very long on just blood worms. Good luck and keep us posted on the little guy.

FWIW....My TT is 9 inches...maybe a bit longer. It goes nuts for night crawlers. I know this thread isn't about a TT anymore but just sayin....
