Hi there Eric, the flow to your sump will depend on the diameter of the drain pipe or tube you use, this must be matched to the return flow rating of your pump.
From memory I think Chompers has a stickly on pipe flow rates and I think it is advised to take into account the head height your return pump will be pumping or working at as this will give you a better idea of what size drain to use.
i.e. your pump may be rated to pump 5000L/H but that is at zero head what will it pump a 1.5m though?
