Does anyone have any pics of a full grown turquoise severum? Do they turn totaly turquoise or only in spots?
Thanks

I have two turquoise severums. I have pics on my gallery. Sorry they are not very good. The fish are a breeding pair. They are a greenish blue with stripes and the bottom fins are a bright redish/orange. When they mate and dance around the tank their coloration changes from light and brilliant to dark and subdued. Quite amazing to watch how instantly it changes like a squid. I have also seen red shoulder severums that are almost all orange and red. They are very beautiful as well.

Rapps has them in stock. I've been thinking very seriously about picking up 10 and going 50/50 with a buddy of mine from work who just lost his Gold Severums to a power outage.

How big/old are the Severums in the pictures above? I have one about 1" long...I can't wait until he gets big enough to see and be appreciated as a true show fish

i would like to see pics of them full grown
i have one that is 2-3 inches long
ive never seen them full grown before
mine seems to stay the same coloration so far

Mine is about 4-5" long and is brown with light black stripes. When the light hits him right I can see spots of green. Is this normal color at that length, when will he turn total turquoise like the ones in the pics above?
