just wondering if can encorporate an adult florida gar with my red ear slider set up. Turtles are medium size if you see any problems please post.

what type of turtle, if it is not a dedicated fish eater (i.e snapping turtle) and you provide some land and a heat lamp I see no problem assuming the gar is noticably longer then the turtle.

red ear sliders and the gar is going to bigger than the turtles

Sliders are notorious fin nippers. It may or may not work but why risk it?

2 of my sliders got along pretty well with fish, however 2 I adopted are major fin nippers, I feel bad for my gold fish sometimes but they were originally bought to be feeders -shrug-

+1. There is a high chance of it ending badly for that gar. I wouldn't do it.

I definitely wouldn't do it. I've seen some pretty awful pics of gars having all their fins nipped off by Sliders. Plus you run the risk of startling the gar which could then seriously injure it's self by running into the glass and breaking it's back.

Gar are slow and sedentary, bad idea for turtle tankmates. You're better off with cichlids or something speedy.

ya I agree with everyone above... gar is going to be too easy of a target for curious sliders. I could foresee the gar doing damage to an inquisitive turtle as well.
