I have been loosely following this story for a while and I am SO glad this guy won. I think he should have got a ton more though.

sick to hear many died and the rest were ill/sick. they're potentially protected species so they neglect them? wtf? at least the guy won.

the worst part is that he was basically set up by the USFWS and the turtles were in great condition and good enclosures.

While he may have been vindicated by winning the lawsuit, that could in no possible way compensate him for the losses and hardship he has endured.

these government organizations are just that...government organizations. they dont care about the animals as can be seen by the deaths of so many in their "care".

glad the guy got the charges dropped and some compensation...thats a real slap in the face to them...

but what about all the poor animals that died because of those morons???

Well that is just stupid. I feel bad that the turtles had too go threw what they did. I cant believe they walked into his yard with no warrent and took pics and used them against him in court and know one said anything. So sad.
