That is absurd, I'm glad he won. I just feel disgusted that USFWS has that much time on their hands to set up a guy like that. Then end up killing the turtles they were trying to "save".
They guy hardly "won"... He "lost" so much...
The state hardly "lost", the tax payers are the ones that give up that money. Agencies like this budget in lawsuit "losses".
I feel the individuals that made the decisions to violate his rights need to be held personally accountable and to take personal losses for such. I know if I made a decision that cost my company 88K based on me boldly overstepping my authority I'd at least lose my job, if not be held financially accountable.
When I see people getting fired and having to reimburse the taxpayers THEN I'll consider us on the right track.

Sounds like the DNR is backwards and needs to be removed and usfws needs to go back to school at least.

Things like the make me really question our government and the way they go about enforcing them... The fact that they killed so many of them because they took them and didn't know how to house/care for them, really grinds my gears....
