I am using a AquaTop 500 on a 200gallon outdoor pond at our shop with koi and goldfish. Works very well for the setup. Try to go with an external filter and not submerged type......external is much easier to clean

As per my suggestions, you have small pond so no need to have high capacity of pond all you just need to do use some less capacity pond it will fine. So don't spend on much.
